Merritt Pennick
Resume & Experience
With over 15 years in the art field, I fully embody the title of "Artist by trade." Beginning my career in freelance commission art, I moved on to teaching art to small children while I achieved my Associates in Early Childhood Education. During this time I got to teach both disabled and typically developing children as an assistant and lead teacher. Now, pursuing my Bachelors of Fine Arts at the University of North Georgia, I have returned to doing art full time in both a student and professional capacity. Between working with the Auxiliary Services department and designing merchandise and marketing illustration, and working as a studio assistant and using practical skills such as data entry and graphic design, I have yet again fully embodied the artist title.
